PILGRIMAGE IN FRANCE

Day 1 : YOUR REGION – PARIS
Arrival at PARIS airport or train station and pick-up by our driver and guide. Coach transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 2 : PARIS – LISIEUX
Breakfast. Guided tour of PARIS, city of history, and its magnificent monuments: the Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, Grands Boulevards, Opéra, Concorde, Eiffel Tower, Louvre museum, hôtel de ville, Notre-Dame cathedral… Visit of the ‘Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Médaille Miraculeuse’, rue du Bac. Lunch. Free time to explore Montmartre, one of the most characteristic areas of the capital: place du Tertre and the Sacré-Cœur basilica. Departure for LISIEUX, dinner and overnight accommodation.
 Day 3 : LISIEUX – LE MONT-SAINT-MICHEL
Breakfast. Guided tour of LISIEUX, place of pilgrimage: les Buissonnets, house where Saint Theresa spent part of her childhood, Carmel chapel, Saint Theresa basilica, the relics room, Saint Peter cathedral. Lunch. Free time then departure for the MONT-SAINT-MICHEL. Dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 4 : MONT-SAINT-MICHEL – TOURS
Breakfast. Tour of the MONT-SAINT-MICHEL. The rocks and the bay are UNESCO world heritage sites. Visit of the medieval town, Parish church and the abbey, then free time to explore this remarkable site. Lunch. Departure in the direction of RENNES, LE MANS, TOURS. Dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 5 : TOURS - ROCAMADOUR
Breakfast. Tour of Old Tours and Saint Gatien cathedral. The town was a major religious centre during the Middle Ages, with pilgrims coming to worship at the tomb of Saint Martin. Today, only two vestiges of the basilica of this Saint remain: Charlemagne Tower and the Clock Tower. On to POITIERS and lunch. On to LIMOGES for a tour of a famous porcelain factory. Then on to BRIVE-LA-GAILLARDE, ROCAMADOUR. Dinner and overnight accommodation.
 Day 6 : ROCAMADOUR - LOURDES
Breakfast. Tour of Rocamadour, place of legend and cult of the Black Virgin: Notre-Dame de Rocamadour. Walk through the town, perched on the side of a cliff along the spectacular Alzou canyon. Free time to walk or meditate in the sacred places of the area such as Notre-Dame chapel. Lunch, then departure for CAHORS, TOULOUSE, TARBES and LOURDES. Dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 7 : LOURDES
Breakfast. Guided tour of LOURDES and the sanctuaries, one the greatest centres of Christian pilgrimage in the world. Your local guide will take you on a discovery of the upper town as well as the sanctuaries of Notre-Dame of Lourdes: grotto of Massabielle, basilica of the Immaculate Conception… Lunch. Free afternoon in this sacred place visited by millions of pilgrims each year. Dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 8 : LOURDES – TOULOUSE – YOUR REGION
Breakfast then coach transfer to TOULOUSE airport or train station. End of our services.
