Day 1 : YOUR REGION – PARIS
Arrival at PARIS airport or train station and pick-up by our driver and guide. Coach transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 2 : PARIS
Breakfast. Guided tour of the capital: the Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, Opéra, Place Vendôme, Louvre museum, Jardins des Tuileries, rue de Rivoli, Île de la Cité with the Conciergerie and Notre-Dame cathedral… Lunch. Free time to explore Montmartre, one of the most distinctive areas of the capital: place du Tertre and the Sacré-Cœur basilica. Boarding on the cruise boat at the end of the afternoon, settlement into cabins, introduction to the crew and welcome drink. Dinner on board and night cruise along the illuminated banks of the Seine, from the boat, admire the Eiffel Tower, Grand Palais, Orangerie, the Louvre and Notre-Dame. Accommodation on board, overnight port of call.
Day 3 : PARIS – VERSAILLES – VERNON
Departure early in the morning, breakfast on board. The boat will pass in front of the futuristic district of La Défense, with its impressive concrete and glass architecture. Lunch on board and port of call around 1.30pm at CONFLANS-SAINTE-HONORINE, at the confluence of the Oise and the Seine. Coach trip to VERSAILLES and the château, one of the most famous and prestigious world heritage monuments. Guided tour of the château: the Grands Appartements, the Hall of Mirrors, etc. Walk through the gardens, masterpiece of Le Nôtre. Boarding on the boat at MANTES-LA-JOLIE in late afternoon. The cruise will continue towards VERNON. Dinner and accommodation on board. Overnight port of call.
Day 4 : VERNON – ROUEN – CAUDEBEC-EN-CAUX
Cruise departs early in the morning. Breakfast on board. You will go past LES ANDELYS and ANFREVILLE, where there will be one final lock before the cruise boat is subject to the tides. Lunch on board and port of call in ROUEN around 1.30pm. Tour of the Upper Normandy capital: cathedral, historical districts, place du Vieux Marché, rue du Gros Horloge, etc. Return on board. The cruise continues around the forest of JUMIÈGES and the abbey, then passes under the Brotonne bridge. Arrival in the evening at CAUDEBEC-EN-CAUX. Depending on the tides, the cruise may continue towards HONFLEUR. Dinner and Captain’s Evening. Overnight accommodation on board.
Day 5 : CAUDEBEC-EN-CAUX – HONFLEUR – LA CÔTE FLEURIE
Breakfast. After passing under the bridges of Tancarville and Normandie, the boat will make a final docking in HONFLEUR harbour, at the mouth of the Seine estuary. Free time to walk through the district of the old harbour, practically unchanged since the 17th century, with its picturesque narrow streets of timber-framed houses, the 15th century wooden church of Saint Catherine, etc. Return on board for lunch. Coach trip to the Côte de Grâce and the Côte Fleurie. Stop at the famous socialite seaside resort of DEAUVILLE, popular and well-known since 1830. Free time. Return to HONFLEUR, dinner and accommodation on board. Overnight port of call.
Day 6 : HONFLEUR – PARIS
After breakfast, disembarkment and departure by coach for PONT-L’ÉVÊQUE, famed for its cheeses since the 17th century, LISIEUX, a major place of pilgrimage and free time to visit the basilica, LIVAROT and VIMOUTIERS. In CAMEMBERT: guided tour with commentary of the Maison du Camembert followed by a tasting session. A guide tells you the fascinating true story of the most famous of Norman cheeses. Continuation to ALENÇON, lunch. Then on to DREUX, PARIS, free time, dinner, overnight accommodation.
Day 7 : PARIS – YOUR REGION
Breakfast then coach transfer to PARIS airport or train station. End of our services.
